5k with Sara

My Sara and I ran the Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving Day 5k. She's a marathon runner, so I know it wasn't much of an accomplishment for her, but I was so glad I did it. It was SO nice to get out there in the brisk air and get some exercise to justify the pie we know we'd be eating later that day!
She shamed me just a bit because she had a baby two months before. I'd NEVER attempt to run a 5k that soon after having a baby, but it's pretty safe to say she's tougher than.

Sara, thanks for getting me out there. Love you!

I feel pathetic right now. I slept in, didn't exercise and ate lots of pie. And I don't even have kids! You too are way tougher than I'll ever be!

Sad I wasn't able to join you! I may be doing a Frigid 5K in a couple of weeks...we'll see.

congrats on running the 5k. And I agree, your friend Sara is crazy. Tell her to gain more weight with the next baby, K. LOL

Way to go! I think it is wonderful that you ran a 5K. Someday I might try to accomplish that. You are my hero. Hope your Christmas was Merry & Bright. Wishing you a fantastic 2009. Hope this year finds a new bigger house for you & your family. Love you lots!

You go girl! Did you catch the bug? Are you going to do more? I hope so. That's quite the accomplishment.
