Torch it.

My men and I spent days making our little Christmasy-gingerbreadish house. It was fun. But after all of the sugar my family has consumed since Halloween, I thought it best to discard this without eating it.
Then Bear suggest we "light it on fire". We all laughed, but then I realized it wasn't such a bad idea. Naturally, my pyro husband agreed. We all cheered as it went up in flames. I think we have ourselves a new tradition.
Isn't it beautiful? (click on image to see the progression)

How magical...the warmth from the flames, the family togetherness, and the burning Frosty. :)

That's great stuff. Ahh, the stuff you think of as an adult because you went to scout camp 20 years ago!

As my friend Heather would say..."BURNIT!" What a fun thing to do under the watchful eye of Pyro Daddy. Good times!

I can only picture your family doing this. I think Eli was born into the wrong one. Looks like a lot of fun.

After asking me why they didn't save the gingerbread house, my son said, "Now they can roast marshmallows!" Kinda defeats the purpose of avoiding sugar but hey...why not?

Yes it is great having boys isn't it! SO fun though!

Are you sure it wasn't my husband who encouraged this way of destroying the house? It sounds just like him. Or maybe it's just a boy thing. No matter why, I'm jealous I didn't get to see it first hand.

Michelle!! I miss you and your boys! I love that you burned it, that is a totally Beavis thing to do and you know how I feel about Beavis. I want to burn something right NOW! Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't have typed that. Awkward.

You have got to be a mother of all boys :) Sally would cry if we did that to our gingerbread house but it looks like a lot of fun!
