We went camping with my cousin Wendy, her hubby Paul, and their kiddos. 8 kids (7 boys and ONE girl- story of my life...). Are we nuts? I guess not, cause we had a great time. I took a bunch of photos but I haven't loaded them onto my computer yet, so this is it. We got rained out this morning and ended up packing up first thing in the morning. I was bummed because we had planned a whole day of hiking and hanging out- oh, well, I guess we'll just have to go again!
Thanks to Paul and Wendy for being so great and coming up with this idea. Jeff and I and the kids loved it.
(forgive the crooked photo, the camera is propped on a rock on a log, not exactly level.)

Thursday...thinking back?
Okay, I couldn't think of a title for this flash back post, but I just realized this dance was in February and I never said anything about it. I helped plan a "decades" Valentines dance at church and not many people dressed for the theme, so here are a some photos of the brave few that came and actually had fun!
1- Do you love my friend Cathy's giant 80's butt bow? I was very impressed.
2- Cam 'n' Aub. This was an authentic 70's orange dress with matching jacket that she borrowed from her friend's mom.
3-Holly and Quintin. Holz bought this original 70's dress on EBay and had it shipped from Australia just for the occasion- it arrived just days before the dance. Then Holly and I found Quintin's outfit at Savers. What a delightful find.

Jeff and I went 40's/50's (there was some debate on the actually era, but I was going for early 50's). Jeff is so handsome in a tux. I know most of you don't care, but I have to say, I have thankfully lost some of this post-pregnancy weight since February.1- Do you love my friend Cathy's giant 80's butt bow? I was very impressed.

Last Weekend
We went with Jeff's family for an awesome weekend trip to Bear Lake. I didn't get out my camera much and I didn't see one other camera the whole weekend! We'll just have to go back I guess. :-)
I snapped as many pics as I could at the end of our day at the lake and this is what I got.
This collage is some of Jeff's sister's with their hubbies and their children, and one of his dad.

This collage is just our little brood. The baby ate so much sand I think I'll see it in his diaper for a week...maybe longer.

The only other pics I got were when we went and picked wild Huckleberries. FUN. I loved this. It was so beautiful and cool and green on that mountain. And those berries taste delightful on ice cream.

Chillin'
Matt and Meghan got married!!! They've been dating for years and some of us friends have been waiting on pins and needles hoping that our Matt wouldn't let her get away. WHEW! He wised up and they got married on June 7th. Here we are a bbq at my house a few weeks ago. I loves to just kick it in my backyard with my peeps. I didn't take any pictures, but my bff Sheryl did, so I just lifted this from her blog.
Unfortunately, there are now no pictures of her and her hubby Darren at our bbq.. SORRY guys! Wait...I'll just add a photo of them....

There.

He's home!
Fid is home! Jeff's brother, Philip, has been serving a mission in Romania and just got back on July 23rd. We all were busting with anticipation. He's the party animal of the family and rarely seems to lack the energy to play, annoy everyone, or get rowdy with the grandkids. We are SO happy he's home.
