Okay, I couldn't think of a title for this flash back post, but I just realized this dance was in February and I never said anything about it. I helped plan a "decades" Valentines dance at church and not many people dressed for the theme, so here are a some photos of the brave few that came and actually had fun!
1- Do you love my friend Cathy's giant 80's butt bow? I was very impressed.
2- Cam 'n' Aub. This was an authentic 70's orange dress with matching jacket that she borrowed from her friend's mom.
3-Holly and Quintin. Holz bought this original 70's dress on EBay and had it shipped from Australia just for the occasion- it arrived just days before the dance. Then Holly and I found Quintin's outfit at Savers. What a delightful find.
Jeff and I went 40's/50's (there was some debate on the actually era, but I was going for early 50's). Jeff is so handsome in a tux. I know most of you don't care, but I have to say, I have thankfully lost some of this post-pregnancy weight since February.1- Do you love my friend Cathy's giant 80's butt bow? I was very impressed.

DARLING! I've been waiting and waiting for pictures of you and your hubby...I LOVE what you and your mom did to that dress. It's perfect!
And I'm STILL waiting to see me and Colby's photos! ;)
Hey I added you to my blog. Check it out!
Very cute...sure do all the fun stuff when we leave.
Fabulous photos!!
I think your outfit is FANTASTIC! I would wear that just normally. And by the way, you look super skinny in those photos, so I don't know what weight you are talking about. This is such a fun idea! I know my hubby wouldn't do it with me, but I still think it'd be fun if my ward put on a dance like this.
How fun! It's fun to see Kathy's awesome bow. I think I may have had one of those. Fun idea for a dance.
Michelle I love you..Thanks for helping me out with the collage..Your blog is sooo cute..
I love the reminder about the dance too. It really was fun..

I care that you've lost weight since February! That is the best feeling...I mean, you look great in these dance pictures and I LOVE your dress, but I am proud of you. And yes, Jeff does look very handsome in a tux...he looks very "James Bond" which is obviously a good thing (I think so, I can't imagine any woman who thinks a "James Bond" look isn't a good thing...
Michelle where have you been all my life?? I haven't seen you in months I miss you! I might see you before the summer is over but I'll definately see you in the fall :)
Quintin looks like a child molester, or a 70's porn star. Don't tell him I said these things.
What fun! I love theme parties and miss planning them for my Ward. I love, love, love your outfit. You guys are a way cute couple.
Put some sequins on those gloves and you're Michael Jackson.
Lame people who won't dress up suck. Oh ya, I went there! You look SUPER cute!
Oh my goodness, dont you look purdy! I love it! I have always loved the vintage look! SO fun!
I think you look stupid. People don't dress like that anymore for a reason: it's out of fashion. Duh.
P.S. I miss you.
