For more than 6 years Jeff has been grilling whole turkeys. They are deeeeelish. And the great part is that they cook in about 3-4 hours rather than the 6-8 hours it takes in an oven. 
This year the big 'ole bird was cooking up beautifully.... until it happened. 20 minutes before it was done, there was a grease fire, or that's what we assume because we never saw it. Maybe some mean person sneaked into our backyard with a blowtorch or some accelerants and torched it. I guess we'll never know.
Our Thanksgiving ham was delicious.

that is so funny! I'm glad you shared it with us. Girls night out looks fun...fun to see a few familiar faces.
So disappointing ... but a memorable holiday. You'll be talking about the "Thanksgiving When ..." for years!
Well, with six years of good luck it happen sometime? Right? Sad though, but I do love me some Ham!!!
